Tunes, Brews, and Springtime VibesΒ

Nothing pairs better with a fresh pint than live music floating through a sunny beer garden. This May, The Hoppy Brewer in Gresham is turning up the volume on good times. We’ve got a full lineup of local bands ready to rock the patio — all you need to do is show up, grab a beer, and let the good times roll. (Dancing is optional, but highly encouraged.)

Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll feel right at home at Hoppy. We’ve got the beer, the beats, and the best patio in town — the only thing missing is you.

Our May Music Lineup: Don’t Miss a Beat

Gresham’s about to get a whole lot groovier. Every weekend this May, we’re hosting live music nights that’ll have you tapping your toes and raising your glass.

Here’s who’s taking the stage:

  • Friday, May 2: Woodlander (6 PM – 9 PM) — Acoustic magic meets cold pints.
  • Saturday, May 10: Pushin’ Daisies (6 PM – 9 PM) — Folk, bluegrass, and good vibes only.
  • Thursday, May 15: Fast Eddie (6 PM – 9 PM) — A little blues, a little rock, a lot of fun.
  • Saturday, May 24: Bluesnik Trio (6 PM – 9 PM) — Soulful blues to go with your IPA.
  • Friday, May 30: Secondhand Jam (6 PM – 9 PM) — Jam-band energy that’s contagious (in the best way).

We’re pouring something special every night too — because live music deserves a pint to match. See what’s on our Live Tap List and plan your night ahead of time!

Pair the Perfect Pint with Every Performance

Not sure what to sip while you jam out? We’ve got you covered. Here’s our totally scientific (okay, not really) guide to pairing brews with tunes:

  • Acoustic Sets (Woodlander) — Reach for a crisp, clean lager or a citrusy saison. Light, bright, and easy to sip all night.
  • Bluegrass Nights (Pushin’ Daisies) — Go for a juicy IPA or a fruity wheat beer. You’ll need something fresh to keep up with those banjo solos!
  • Blues Rock Shows (Fast Eddie and Bluesnik Trio) — Smooth amber ales or a sturdy brown ale are the way to go. Rich, mellow, and full of character.
  • Jam Band Jams (Secondhand Jam) — A juicy hazy IPA or a berry cider fits the free-flowing, good-time vibe.

No matter what you’re grooving to, our tap list has something that’ll hit the right note. Browse our full Beers We Carry and Ciders We Carry to scout out your next favorite pour.

(Hot tip: a cold pint makes even bad dance moves look a little better.)

Beer Garden Weather Is Here

Let’s be honest — the only thing better than drinking great beer is drinking great beer outside while listening to live music. And The Hoppy Brewer’s beer garden is Gresham’s go-to spring spot.

Our space is:

  • Pet-friendly: Bring your dog, your neighbor’s dog, or just come and admire everyone else’s dogs.
  • Spacious and sunny: Plenty of seating, shade umbrellas, and open-air good vibes.
  • Food-friendly: Grab bites from Gresham’s best food trucks nearby and pair them with your pint.

Nothing beats the sound of live guitar strings drifting through a warm evening while you sip something delicious. (Pro tip: arrive early to snag the best seats — the beer garden fills up fast on live music nights!)
